About Camp
What grades does Battle Road serve?
Boys and girls entering 3rd through 9th grade.
Are boys and girls together?
Same camp, same days, same fields — but boys and girls play separately. Coach Dave Walsh leads the boys’ program and Coach Indigo Fox Tree leads the girls’ program, each with their own coaching staff and field space.
What if my child has never played lacrosse?
Beginners are welcome. We group campers by skill level and run a full curriculum that meets new players where they are — starting with the fundamentals (cradling, scooping, passing, catching) and building from there.
What’s your camper-to-coach ratio?
We aim for a 7:1 camper-to-coach ratio. We don’t cap enrollment — instead, we hire the appropriate number of coaches based on registration. That way every camper gets real instruction and real reps, regardless of how many show up.
A Day at Camp
What does my child need to bring?
Full equipment, plus a water bottle.
- Boys: Stick, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, mouthguard
- Girls: Stick, goggles, mouthguard
- Everyone: Water bottle, cleats or turf shoes preferred, sunscreen
Camp pinnies are provided.
Is lunch provided?
Yes — lunch is served daily, with allergy options available. Let us know about specific dietary needs at registration.
Water and shade?
Campers should bring a water bottle. We have a water refilling station, bathrooms, and shade tents on site, and the staff builds frequent water breaks into every session.
Is there an athletic trainer on site?
Yes — a certified athletic trainer is on site full-time during camp hours.
What about weather?
We do not cancel camp days for weather. In the event of lightning, buses are on site so campers can shelter safely until conditions clear and play resumes.
Logistics
Where exactly is the camp?
Lincoln Park Fields, 100 Lincoln Street, Lexington, Massachusetts — just a minute off I-95.
What are the camp hours?
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We do not offer extended hours, before-care, or after-care.
Photos and media?
Photo permissions are part of the camper agreement that families complete during registration.
Registration & Cost
How do I register?
Register online at our 2026 registration page. We have been able to maintain a cost of $500 per player for five full days of instruction.
Are there discounts avaiable?
Yes. We offer an early-bird registration discount through February each year. If you are registering multiple children, email us to ask about the sibling discount before you register.
What’s your refund policy?
We don’t have a formal refund policy at this time. If you need to cancel, please contact us as early as possible and we’ll do our best to work with you.
